Pitches	1 Student was unable to match any of the pitches given.	2 Student was able to match some pitches given. There were frequent and/or repeated errors	3 Student was able to match most pitches given.	4 Student was able to match a majority of pitches given with an occasional isolated error.	5 Student was able to match all pitches given.
Intonation	1 Student was unable to sing in his/her head voice. Notes were consistently out of tune.	2 Student sang in his/her head voice some of the time. Most notes out of tune. Able to hear pitch, not finding the center.	3 Student sang in his/her head voice half the time. Some notes were out of tune.	4 Student sang in his/her head voice most of the time. Majority of notes in tune.	5 Student sang in his/her head voice the entire time. Excellent ability to listen and hear pitch. Accurate and secure.
Rhythm	1 Student was unable to produce any accurate rhythm. Vocal Tone Quality	1 Student's tone was unfocused, breathy and not clear. Student did not seem confident about the performance	2 Student's sound was extremely breathy and unfocused.
