Energy Transfer labs Energy Transfer labs Students will naviagate through 5 stations 1) Lights 2) fan 3) bell 4) ramps, and 5) heater and the window. Students will have to know all the different energies that are present and the energy transformations they witness. Students will fill out lab sheet with observation notes and demonstrate a full understanding of energy. Energy pathways Enter criteria description	Poor no energy identification was done at the stations,and observation sheet was never filled in.	Fair Decent - energy identification was done at the labs, but lab sheet was not completed.	Good Good - the main energy pathways are listed for each station, some other forms of energy are listed, but not really explained.	Excellent Full, thoughtful energy transfer pathways listed for each station, with an explanation for each one, transfers are fully understood.
group discusion	Poor didn't ask questions, answer questions, or participate in group discussion and one on one discussion with teacher	Fair Decent - gave some answers, but could only talk about a few present energies present.	Good good - answered questions, knew the energies that were present, but didn't know how energy transfer occurred.	Excellent Good, full, accurate answers for each question, even going beyond the minimum requirements and adding more detail to the energy descriptions.
lab work	Poor Didn't follow directions, didn't test out lab equipment, and didn't take notes about observations made during the stations	Fair Fairly good, but clearly did not understand the lab, only completed some of the stations.	Good Good - a lab where every station was completed, but the data collection was not evident	Excellent Great - every station was completed, professionalism was exhibited and notes were being taken the entire time.
