Hand position	Excellent Student uses finger pads to dribble basketball consistently.	Good Student uses the palm of their hand 1 time.	Fair Student uses the palm of their hand 2 times.	Poor student uses the palm of their hand 3 or more times.
Height of ball	Excellent Student dribbles basketball at waist height.	Good Student dribbles basketball above or below waist height 1 time.	Fair Student dribbles basketball above or below waist height 2 times.	Poor Student dribbles basketball above or below waist height 3 or more times.
Head Up	Excellent Student never looks down at the basketball.	Good Student looks down at the basketball 1 time.	Fair Student looks down at the basketball 2 times.	Poor Student looks down at the basketball 3 or more times.
Control	Excellent Student is able to dribble the basketball in a straight line.	Good Student dribbles basketball to the left or right of the dribbling lane 1 time.	Fair Student dribbles to the left or rights of the dribbling lane 2 times.	Poor Student dribbles to the left or rights of the dribbling lane 3 or more times.
