student is able to dribble in, but footwork and shot are not proper.

student is able to dribble in sometimes looking up and uses the proper footwork to take off, shot technique is OK.
Excellent

student is able to dribble with head up, uses the appropriate footwork to jump and uses the proper shooting technique.
Game play

Poor

student does not actively try to participate in the game. Does not move around or try to get open and try to be a part of the game, does not use proper skills.
Fair

student only moves when their team has the ball, does not play defense, only passes to certain players, tries to use new skills.
Good

student is generally enthused about the game, tries to get open and pass to others that are open, tries most of the time to use skills taught to them.
Excellent

student is engaged in the game communicating with others, passing to everyone who is open, trying to get open themselves, uses the proper skills they have been taught.
Effort/Attitude

Poor

student gives almost no effort and does not care to get better, negative to everyone.
Fair

student gives minimal effort, rarely tries to get better, rarely tries hard and can be negative to others who they feel are not as good.
Good

student gives a good effort most of the time, working to improve, is positive most of the time.
Excellent

student gives an excellent effort almost all the time and tries to get better all the time, they are positive with everyone on the team.
