Engineering Design Process

Design	Poor Your design lacked materials that were needed. It was really hard for me to tell what you built or were building.	Fair Some materials were used correctly.	Good Good use of the materials and plan. The tower was nice and well put together, but there were parts that weren't well made.	Excellent Great use of materials! You maximized your use of materials and created a great tower.
Collaboration	Poor You did not collaborate at all with your partner, but worked on your design process by yourself. No feedback was given or received.	Fair You collabarated very little with your partner in the dssign process and hardly gave/received feedback and suggestions.	Good You collaborated most of the design process with your partner and gave/received feedback and suggestions.	Excellent You collaborated throughout the design process with your partner and gave and received feedback and suggestions.
Criteria - height	Poor Tower was less than 12 inches tall	Fair Tower was between 12 to 15 inches tall	Good Tower was between 16-20 inches tall	Excellent Tower was between 21-24 inches tall
Criteria-stability	Poor Tower was not stable and fell immediately when the stuffed animal was placed on it.	Fair Tower was somewhat stable, and held the stuffed animal for less than 20 seconds before it started shifting	Good Tower was quite stable, and held the stuffed animal for 20-30 seconds before the tower started shifting	Excellent Tower was extremely stable and held the stuffed animal for over 30 seconds without it shifting.
Time Management	Poor Did not use time well. Time was wasted during the brainstorming and design phase of engineering.	Fair Sometimes used time well. There were times when you got off task during brainstorming and design phase.	Good Good use of time, there were a few times when you got off task, but for the majority of the task time was well spent.	Excellent Great use of time.You stayed on task during each phase of the process.
