Relationships	No Score No connections demonstrate correct relationships.	Poor The relationships are shown by connecting arrows or another method, but many are incorrect or missing.	Average More than 1 connection shows an incorrect relationship or is missing.	Good All connections demonstrate correct relationships between organisms.
Labels	No Score No labels used.	Poor The few labels that were included are inaccurate or not legible.	Average The student attempted to use multiple labels for various interactions in the cycle, but may have made a few errors.	Good The students accurately uses many labels in the diagram to show various relationships.
Drawings or Pictures	No Score No attempt was made to include drawings or pictures, may have only used words and arrows.	Poor The drawing or pictures are clearly lacking in how realistic the community is represented. The science content contains many inaccuracies.	Average The drawings or pictures depict the presented community. It may contain a few inaccuracies.	Good The drawings or pictures realistically and effectively depict the community as presented.
