Rural/Urban/Suburban Community Triiorama 
Students create a triorama to demonstrate knowledge of three types of community -rural, urban, or suburban. Students will describe and give a presentation about the three types of communities in an oral presentation.

Triorama has less than 2 items to represent each type of community. Each community is not identifiable. Teacher can tell that little to no effort was used in creating the items.
Level 2 - Developing

Triorama has 2 to 3 items to represent each type of community. Each community is somewhat identifiable. Teacher can tell that a minimal effort was used in creating the items.
Level 3 - Accomplished

Triorama has 3 to 5 items to represent each type of community. Each community is identifiable. Teacher can tell that a good effort went in to creating the items.
Level 4 - Exemplary

Triorama has more than 5 items to represent each type of community. Each community is clearly identifiable. Teacher can tell that a lot of work went into creating the items.
Creativity

Level 1- Beginning

No effort appears to have been put into creating the triorama. There seems to have been no thought or imagination.
Level 2 - Developing

Very little effort appears to have been put into creating the triorama. There seems to have been little thought or imagination.
Level 3 - Accomplished

A great deal of effort has been put into creating the triorama. You thought about what you wanted to present, you used your imagination.
Level 4 - Exemplary

A lot of effort has been put into creating the triorama. You thought about what you wanted to present, you used your imagination and thought outside of the box. You created a unique triorama like no other in the class.

Level 1- Beginning

Triorama shows major damage and is messy in appearance. The student threw the diarama together and is unpleasing to view.
Level 2 - Developing

Triorama shows minor damage and appears somewhat messy.The student attempted with some design to create a pleasing triorama but failed to bring overall idea to life.
Level 3 - Accomplished

Diorama shows no sign of damage and is neatly presented. The student's diarama shows evidence of a well thought out design and is pleasing to view.
Level 4 - Exemplary

Triorama shows no sign of damage and is perfectly put together.
The student's triorama shows excellent use of design and is beautiful to look at.
Presentation

The student communicates limited knowledge about the features of each type of community.
Level 2 - Developing

The student communicates some specific ideas, opinions and information about each type of community in a fairly clear, coherent manner.
Level 3 - Accomplished

The student communicates specific ideas, opinions and information about each type of community in a clear, coherent manner with considerable effectiveness.
Level 4 - Exemplary

The student communicates specific ideas, opinions and information about each type of community in a clear, coherent manner with a high degree of effectiveness.
