Posterior Palatal Seal

Outline of the posterior palatal seal neatly carved to correct position and size.
Extends 3 mm laterally to pterygomaxillary notches. Narrows in midline area. On average 2 to 3 mm in width in midline. 2mm in width at pterygomaxillary notches and 4 to 6 mm wide in between. Depth of seal is 1 to 1.5 mm deep.

Remount Jig

1/3 of maxillary denture teeth ( corresponding to the occlusal and incisal surfaces) engage the stone of remounting jig. Maxillary denture remains stable on the index. No void no bubbles. Articulator's incisal pin touching the table and pin at zero.
Acceptable B
Minor discrepancies from ideal criteria.
Modifications C
Remounted jig fabrication with major discrepancies that will need modifications to be clinically acceptable.
