Good Student understands the qualities of watercolor paints being taught and applies it to most of the painting.	Average Student understands the qualities of watercolor paints being taught and applies it to part of the painting.	Poor Student does not apply qualities of watercolor paints being taught.
Neatness	Excellent Student takes great care to keep their artwork neat and looking "professional"	Good Student does a good job keeping artwork neat and clean	Average Student needs to work on keeping artwork neater	Poor Student does not keep artwork neat.
Painting Skill	Excellent Student applies watercolor in a preplanned and logical way, covering entire surface.	Good Student applies watercolor carefully and consistently, leaving minimal white space.	Average Student applies watercolor consistent with the technique, but leaves too much white space.	Poor Student needs to work on watercolor application and following technique instructions.
