Kindergarten Behavior Expectations This rubric can be used in a Kindergarten classroom to help the students manage their behavior everyday. The rubric sets clear and realistic expectations for the children to follow. By setting clear expectations it provides limits and boundaries, increases the chances of the student doing what is being asked of, and teaches them how to behave properly. The realistic and clear expectations that this rubric provides can be used as a tool in a classroom to manage classroom behavior. Follow Directions	Excellent I always knew what I was supposed to be doing.	Good I mostly knew what I was suppose to be doing. I asked for help when I wasn't sure.	Fair I was not always sure what I was supposed to be doing. I needed reminders.	Poor I did not know what I as supposed to be doing. I did not ask for help.
Self Managment	Excellent I was able to stay calm and practice useful tools during conflicts to promote a happy environment.	Good I may get upset but am able to calm down with the conscious discipline strategies the teacher helps me with.	Fair I am unable to control myself in conflicts but I do not act out and hurt others.	Poor I am unable to control myself in conflicts. I act out and hurt others.
Respect of Others	Excellent I showed respect to others and their belongings.	Good I needed one or two reminders to show respect to others and their belongings.
