Point of View	Poor The scene hardly ever reflects the chosen point of view (doesn't follow the character's point of view).	Fair Some of the scene reflects the chosen point of view (follow the character's point of view some of the time).	Good Most of the scene reflects the chosen point of view. Minor errors depicting point of view.	Excellent The entire scene reflects chosen point of view (the whole story is told through the eyes of the chosen character).
Follows Format of Original Story	Poor Scene leaves out key elements of the original scene, both in plot and sequence.	Fair Scene follows basic order of original scene, but important plot details are missing.	Good Scene follows order of original scene and all important plot details are present.	Excellent Scene follows order and plot of original scene, with a few creative elements added.
Character's Voice	Poor Chosen character's original attributes do not show in actions or dialogue.	Fair Chosen character's original attributes show slightly in actions or dialogue.	Good Chosen character's attributes show in actions and dialogue and match up (with minor differences) to original scene.	Excellent Chosen character's attributes show in actions and dialogue and match up to original scene.
Spelling/Grammar	Poor Many errors in spelling and grammar.	Fair Occasional errors in spelling and grammar.	Good Few errors in spelling and grammar.	Excellent Almost no errors in spelling and grammar. (Grammar errors allowed in dialogue if character attribute calls for it.)
