Spelling, Punctuation, & Punctuation
Excellent
Student worked carefuly, re-read and edited their work thoroughly to make sure their grammatical work was 99% correct. The writing flows perfectly and there are no punctuation errors.

Student utilized less than two (2) quality research sources. The research was poorly incorporated in the presentation and summary and was loosely relevant to the character. The research lead to a poor understanding of the character.

Student did not utilize any quality research sources. The research was not incorporated in the presentation and summary. The lack of quality research lead to a poor or no understanding of the character.

Creativity is excellent! Character in media piece is well defined and context is easy to follow. The student an outstanding job manipulating color, formatting, transitions, sound or video, and/or other creative techniques.

Character in media piece has some definition and context is not easily followed. The student manipulated only some of the following areas: color, formatting, transitions, sound or video, and/or other creative techniques.

Student employed little or no creative elements in their presentation. There are no elements to intrigue the viewer (e.g. graphics, design, choreography, dialogue, colors, etc.)

It is unclear how the media relates to the topic of study or there is no media. The presentation did not introduce or did not give context to the topic using media and was not able to hold the interest of the audience.

Project was on time and of appropriate duration. Presentation was clear and interesting. Student was able to focus on his or her own presentation, and respected all peer presentations.

Project was on time, and attempted to meet time requirements. Student was generally able to focus on his or her own presentation, and mostly respected peer presentations.
