Final EES Poster and Presentation 
The students will work a poster for display showcasing how our world is all connected. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the interconnections of our world's spheres and how we (people) fit into this. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline for the final poster. The poster will be designed on a large poster sheet. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher.

Does not have all of the relevant information of the poster. There is not enough information presented. Missing many of the Information outlined in the directions. Presented in an unorganized fashion and is hard to understand.
Good

Poster includes all relevant information; All topics are covered, the connections are not clear. Poster is not well-organized or easily understood..
Exceeds

The poster includes all information relevant to the class. All units are discussed and elaborated on. The poster is creative, clear and concise. The student added information above what was taught in class or required for assignment.
Work quality/effort

Poor

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Good

The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster.
Exceeds

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.
Creativity

Poor

Lacks original artwork. Not students own drawing/writing. Not good use of space on poster. Messy. Lacks color, and units appear disconnected.
Fair

Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not a lot of color/shapes/design. Some of the drawings/writing is the student's own.
Good

Contains students own writing and drawing.Lots of colors, shapes, and appealing design. All units are represented on the Poster. Shows the student spent time creating an artistic piece.
Exceeds

Eye catching. Great use of colors, shapes, and spacing on poster. Artwork is the students own & is neat. Writing is easy to read. Poster shows the interconnections for all units. Shows the student can express ideas through art.
Expectations/Potential

Poor

Does not meet teachers expectations or students potential. Obvious that directions were not followed and student did not put effort into this project.
Fair

Few areas of project meets teachers expectations or students potential. Some of the directions are followed, only surface level on most units. Student did not take time on project
Good

Numerous areas of project meets teachers expectations and students potential. All units and most standards are represented and posters show how most units are interconnected.
Exceeds

Meets teachers expectations and students potential. All units and all standards are represented and posters show how all units are interconnected. More than just one connection to each unit.

Student knows most content on poster. Student does not read directly from poster and provides detailed explanation on interconnections from what was learned this semester. Knows the information and is able to rely that info succinctly.
Exceeds

Student thoroughly knows content on poster, does not read directly from poster. Student speaks in a clear voice and makes direct eye contact with class. Provides in depth explanations on interconnections from standards.
