Gendered communication is designed to enable learning about verbal and non verbal aspects of gendered discourse. This assignment assesses the learners ability to first identify linguistic aspects of gendered communication and second to analyse male and female discourse in a multlimedia text

The student noted that female characters used higher intonations and shorter pauses, while men used lower intonation patterns and longer pauses.
