Art - Exploring Line
Students are introduced to the concept of line as an Element of Design. Students create their own line drawing that makes use of different types of lines, colour, balance, movement and harmony (unity)

Space is used very effectively. The composition is nicely balanced and interesting. Finished product is very organised and feels complete.
Inspirational image
Level R
Image is used incorrectly or without refinement, drawing is unfinished or appears messy and needs attention. Presentation has not been considered.
Level 1
Use of Image could be improved or cleaned up. Some areas of the drawing need further attention. The student finished the project, but it could have been improved with more effort.
Level 2
Used image fairly well but could be improved or cleaned up. Inspiration can be seen The composition is finished but appears rushed in areas.
Level 3
Image is used carefully, inspiration is present and used skillfully and the poster is completely finished.
Level 4
Inspirational image is used with a great deal of care and skill. Use of lines adds a lot of interest and skillfully draws the viewers eye. Finished poster meets all expectations.
