Key Details	Novice The graphic organizer does not contain key details, or the details included do not support the main idea.	Practitioner The graphic organizer has key details from the story but they may not be the most supportive evidence from the article.	Expert The graphic organizer has details from the story. The supporting details are strong evidence of the main idea proving it true.
Neatness	Novice The graphic organizer is illegible.	Practitioner Most of the information on the graphic organizer is legible, but there are sections that are illegible.	Expert The graphic organizer is neat and all of the information can be read with minimal effort.
