Descriptive Essay
Choose a real place that conveys a definite mood and write a descriptive essay about it. Use vivid words, descriptive adjectives, precise nouns, at least two examples of figurative language, and engage the five senses to help "transport" your reader. The place you describe must be one that has influenced your identity in some way.
