Overall lesson with story and song	Poor Student did not properly apply the parts of a map in their song. They did not apply what they have learned to their story or help in the making of their story map.	Good Student was able to properly show and explain some parts of the map with their song but not all. They were able to create a basic understand of the map and their story but was lacking detail or locations.	Excellent Student was able to correctly label all parts of a map with their song. Student was also able to create a story to go along with their fantasy map that covered everything in the lesson.
Map story	Poor Student did not turn in a finished map of their made up land or did not turn in a finished story to go along with it.	Good Student turned in either the map or the story but not both of them together.	Excellent Student turned in a labeled map of their fantasy land along with the short story to go along with it.
Participation	Poor Students did not help their partners and were not putting in a team effort for this project.	Good Students lacked effort and participation with this assignment and did not contribute to the group	Excellent Students were helpful and a team player. They contributed to the group and helped with each assignment.
