The students have read and discussed the pour quoi tale “ How Desert Tortoise Got It’s Shell” and the elements of a pour quoi tale. They will use this background knowledge and the writing process to write a pour quoi tale sequel that describes a problem Desert Tortoise has with his new shell and how he resolves it.
