Research and participation	Poor The research was not fully completed. The group effort was not evenly divided.	Fair The research was adequate. Some members did not perform as much research.	Excellent All research was completed to a high standard. Members took part in all aspects of the research stage. The presentation displayed the students' level of understanding.
Content knowledge	Poor Has communicated enough content or spoke incorrectly about the topic. Lack of knowledge relating to the topic is shown. Does not show understanding of the lead-up and approval of the 18th amendment and its effects. Relied too much on the board, cards, and or any other reference.	Fair Has communicated most of the content correctly. Appears to have developed satisfactory knowledge of content. Only parts of the information taught are shown in the project. Little use of references when presenting.	Excellent Has excellently stated the content to the class. Has strong knowledge of the learned topics. Little to no use of references while presenting. All aspects of the 18th amendment are shown: the lead-up, approval, and effects.
Demonstration	Poor Presented work is of poor structure. Little information was given and the overall project clearly does not show effort. Not all members of the group took part in the presentation.	Fair Presented work is clear and able to be understood. Presented information to others and helped them to become interested in the topics related to the 18th amendment.	Excellent Findings are presented with enthusiasm. The report is easy to understand from the various forms of presentation. Maximum effort was made to make the report entertaining as well as educational.
