	Incomplete 0 pts	Poor 2 pts	Fair 4 pts	Good 6 pts
Understanding	Incomplete Shows no understanding of measurement including inches, feet, yards, meters and centimeters.	Poor Shows an understanding of at least 2 of the measurement types.	Fair Shows an understanding of at least 4 of the measurement types.	Good Shows understanding of all of the measurement types.
Measuring	Incomplete Shows that the student does not know how to measure with different measurement tools.	Poor Shows that the student can measure with different tools at least 50% of the time.	Fair Shows that the student can measure with different tools and get the correct answer at least 75% of the time.	Good Shows that the student can measure with different tools and get the answers right 100% of the time.
Measurement tools	Incomplete Shows no understanding of when they should use each tool to measure such as using yard sticks to measure yards.	Poor Shows an understanding of when to use different tools such as yard sticks, to measure different objects 2-3 times.	Fair Shows an understanding of when to use different tools such as yard sticks, to measure different objects 4-8 times.	Good Shows an understanding of when to use different tools such as yard sticks to measure objects 9-10 times.
