The speaker's gestures are distracting. The speaker looks depressed or apathetic.

The speaker's appearance may lack formality because he or she is fidgeting, not standing up straight, or seems insecure.
Good

The speaker's appearance is professional in dress, stance, and gestures.
Excellent

The speaker's appearance is professional in dress, stance, and gestures. The student uses their body to emphasize points or add meaning.
Voice Intonation

Poor

The speech is delivered in a monotone or apathetic voice.
Fair

The speaker sounds uninterested in what he or she is presenting.
Good

The speech is delivered with enthusiasm.
Excellent

The speech is delivered with enthusiasm and the speaker uses intonation in order to emphasize points and add meaning.
Pronunciation

Poor

The student has difficulty pronouncing words with affricates and tries to repeat pronouncing them.
5 or more errors
Fair

The student pronounces some words with affricates correctly with 3 or 4 mispronounced words.
Good

The student generally pronounces the words with affricates correctly. One or two errors
Excellent

The student pronounces all the words with affricates correctly. No error
