Weld width and height: 100 % Uniform width and thickness throughout the entire length of each weld.	Advanced Bead is uniform width all along the length of each welld. Has a smooth appearance	Proficient Bead maintains width and length. Shows some small blemishes along the weld	Basic Not a uniform thickness through out the weld. Thickness goes to extremes	Below Basic Weld is cut off in places, not uniform along the weld. Shows bare spots	Total Points
Appearance 100 % Smooth with uniform dense ripples, doesn’t show the bead traveling to fast or slow	Advanced Weld shows a constant speed and uniformity the entire length	Proficient Weld shows a constant speed with some blemishes that are minimal	Basic Weld shows definite areas of speeding up and slowing down.
