Take Action Presentation 
This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Take Action presentation. This rubric will be used as a peer feedback form during the presentations as well your grade for this portion of your senior capstone project. If you are working as a group, each group member must contribute equally to the creation and presentation of your project.

Has two or more artifacts that support take action project and add to the take action presentation. If a slide presentation: Visuals are attractive. Text is easy to read. Slides are easy to understand.
Exceeding

Has four or more different artifacts that support take action project and add to the take action presentation (a PSA, video, pictures, documentation, artifact, product). If a slide show: Visuals are attractive. Font is clear and easy to read. Text is presented so that audience can easily understand what is being presented.

A description of the outcomes, what actually happened.

Beginning

Did little or nothing for take action portion of the project. Did not follow or make plan of action. Action is not connected to the issue.
Approaching

Clear indication of some effort for taking action. Plan is formulated and described, attempt made to follow plan of action. Able to describe the action and how it relates to the issue. Minimal follow-through on plan.
Meeting

Describes the action and steps involved with project. Describes the outcome of the project. Significant effort made to follow plan of action and description of how it relates to the issue.
Exceeding

Describes in detail the action and steps involved with the project as well as description of the outcomes of the project. Information is presented in a logical and interesting sequence. The audience can easily follow the flow of ideas.
Oral Presentation

Beginning

Holds no eye contact with audience.
Entire report is read from notes or off the visual

Speaks in low volume and monotonous tone.
Approaching

Displays minimal eye contact with audience.

Reads mostly from notes or visual.

Speaks in uneven volume with little or no inflection.
Meeting

Consistent use of direct eye contact with audience.

Reads minimally from notes or visual

Speaks with satisfactory variation of volume and inflection.
Exceeding

Holds attention of audience with use of direct eye contact, seldom looking at notes.

Speaks with fluctuation in volume and inflection to maintain audience interest and emphasize key points.
Personal Perspectives

Express each group member's personal perspective on the take action project and perspectives of community members or others who helped with the project.

Beginning

Describes in one to two sentences one perspective on the take action project.
Approaching

Each member of the group describes in several sentences their personal perspective on their part of the take action project: what worked well.
