Content 10 pts	Exemplary Repsonse demonstrates excellent understanding of the event, person, or era by providing many rich and varied historically accurate details that go beyond a mere recounting of the events	Quality Response demonstrates good comprehension of the event, person, or era by providing many historically accurate details.	Fair Response demonstrates fair comprehension of the event, person, or era using some widely known historically accurate details. May include some misunderstandings.	Needs Improvement Project demonstrates poor comprehension of the event, person, or era with few historically accurate details.
Organization 10 pts (Answers are clearly thought out and articulated.)	Exemplary Well organized, coherently developed, and easy to follow.	Quality Organization is mostly clear and easy to follow.	Fair Inadequate organization or development. Structure of the answer is not easy to follow.	Needs Improvement Organization and structure detract from the answer.
Writing Conventions 10 pts (Spelling, punctuation, grammar, and complete sentences.)	Exemplary Demonstrates excellent writing skills, including few or no conventions errors.
