The student has well over 2 supporting details and pulls from different sources. The student understands how to add supporting details.

Little to no transition words used... if so were also not used in the correct sense.

The writer uses transition words well, although could use more to add a better flow to the paper

Transition words used correctly as well as being well-spread throughout the paper.
Conclusion

No conclusion at all.
Fair

The writer attempts the conclusion but forgets to restate their claim.
Good

The writer restates their claim but needs to add transition words and one fact to back up the claim
Excellent

The conclusion contains the restated thesis, transition words, and an extra fact to solidify their claim.
