Construction Phase	1 Student did not attempt to build a working trebuchet.	3 Student did not finish the trebuchet. Construction was started but the model was not ready for testing or did not work properly. The quality of construction was poor.	4 Student completed a working trebuchet but did not have working release mechanism. Quality of constructions fair.	5 Student completed a working trebuchet, the trebuchet did have a working release mechanism. The quality of construction was excellent.
