The students followed some of the directions. The project was completed, but needed improvements. More effort was needed to have a better finish for this project.

The students followed most of the directions. The project was neat and completed. The students utilized their time well to create a satisfactory project.
Excellent
The students followed all of the directions. The project was organized and displayed creativity. The students put more effort into the project than what was required.

Poor and Unacceptable
The assignment was completed, but showed no progress or understanding of the content. Many components were missing and skills shown were poor and unacceptable.
Below Average
The assignment was turned in and showed little understanding of the content. written thoughts were not organized and hard to follow.
Average/Good
The students turned in the assignment showing some understanding of the project. Character traits were included, but some of the evidence was missing or did not relate.
Very Good
The students turned in the assignment showing good understanding of the project. All character traits were included with evidence. There were a few grammatical and technical errors and evidence could be stronger
Excellent
The students turned in the assignment showing outstanding understanding. Character traits were present and strong supporting evidence was included in a well organized document.

The campaign video was unfinished or not completed. There is no evidence of understanding. The students did not take the time to brainstorm ideas for this project.

The campaign video was completed, but there is little evidence of organization and understanding. The students took little to no time to brainstorm ideas for the project.
Average/Good
The campaign video was completed. There was some evidence of understanding of candidate's character traits, but no evidence to support. The students took some time to brainstorm for the project.
Very Good
The campaign video was completed and there is evidence that the students brainstormed new ideas and showed originality in their assignment. The students used knowledge of characters and should some understanding of textual evidence.
Excellent
The campaign video was completed and there is evidence that the students brainstormed new ideas and used those within their work. The students used their originality and creativity to create a finished project. The students showed full understanding of character traits and textual evidence.
