Theater Production Poster Theater Production Poster Students will create a poster designed to market a theatre production. The poster will contain some information relevant to advertising. Students will provide a creative and colorful poster designed on computer. The poster should address the following questions: - What is the play about? - When and where does it take place? - Who acts in it? - Who wrote it? Content Knowledge	Advanced The poster includes all information relevant to the topic; title, playwright, place, date, time, ticket info, website, actors, director if there is a clear director. The poster is clear and concise.	Proficient Poster includes all relevant information; however, it is not very well-organized or easily understood.	Fair Poster does not have all of the relevant information. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion and may be hard to understand.	Needs Improvement The poster does not include the required information.
Creativity	Advanced Eye catching. Great use of colors, texture, shapes, and spacing on poster. Artwork is the student's own and is neat. Fonts are easy to read. Can be read from a distance.	Proficient Contains students own writing and artwork. Shows the student spent time creating and designing the poster. Some of the poster be read from a distance.Fonts are somewhat easy to read.	Fair Not very appealing. Limited use of creative materials. Not alot of color/shapes/design. Most of the artwork is not the student's own.Fonts are difficult to read and cannot be seen easily from a distance.	Needs Improvement Lacks original artwork. Does not make good use of space on the poster. Messy. Lacks color and logical design placement.Fonts are difficult to read and cannot be seen from a distance.
Format	Advanced Poster is correctly in vertical format (11x14 or A4 will be fine) and in jpg or pdf format. Graphics are clear.	Proficient Poster is correct size 11X14 or A4 and in jpg or pdf format. Graphics are blurred.	Fair Poster is not the correct size. Not sent in jpg or pdf. Graphics are blurred.	Needs Improvement Poster is not the correct size and not submitted as a jpg or pdf. Graphics are blurred or not included. Poster has not been completed or turned in.
