Labeling	Exceptional Everything is labeled and all labels are in the correct place. Easy to read.	Good Most things are labeled and in the correct place. Only a small amount are missing. Easy to read.	Fair Many of the labels are missing or in the incorrect place. Difficult to read.	Poor Almost all of the labels are missing or incorrect. Very difficult to read.
Key	Exceptional Key is present and correct. No mistakes and easy to read.	Good Key is present but not completely accurate. Easy to read.	Fair Key is present but mostly inaccurate or incomplete. Difficult to read.	Poor Key is not present.
Title	Exceptional Title is present and correctly represents what the map is about. Easy to read and in a good place on the map.	Good Title is present but not a complete representation of what the map is about. Easy to read and in a good place on the map.	Fair Title does not represent what the map is about. Difficult to read and not in a good place on the map.	Poor Title is not present.
Colored	Exceptional The map is completely colored and correct. The coloring is neat and precise.	Good The map is mostly colored and correct. The coloring is mostly neat and precise.	Fair The map is only partially colored and sloppy.	Poor The map is not colored.
Summary	Exceptional There is a summary that tells the purpose of the map. At least one complete sentence.	Good There is a summary that tells the purpose of the map. Sentence is incomplete.	Fair The summary does not correctly tell the purpose of the map. Sentence is incomplete.	Poor Summary sentence is missing.
