Character Development

Rehearsal Etiquette

Skill: Is the student actively engaged in the rehearsal process?

Student talks with or distracts other students during rehearsals and is on cell phone (texting /social media) during rehearsals.
Student does not bring script, pencil or wear appropriate clothing or shoes for rehearsal. Has been late or misses rehearsals. Does not listen to directions from director or stage manager. Leaves trash in theater or backstage

Student is occasionally off task and has been on cell phone during rehearsal.
Student occasionally talks with or distracts other students during rehearsals.
Student does not always bring script, pencil or wear appropriate clothing or shoes for rehearsal. Has been late or misses rehearsals. Does not always listen to directions from director or stage manager. Occasionally leaves trash in the theater and backstage

Student does not talk with or distracts other students during rehearsals.
Student always brings script and pencil (writes down blocking) and wears appropriate clothing and shoes for rehearsal.Student turns off cell phone and puts it away. Knows the rehearsal schedule and is on time and ready to rehearse. Listens to directions from director or stage manager. Cleans up after rehearsal in theater and backstage.
