A thoughtful/insightful personal reflection that references and reacts to the reading (without plagiarizing). Paper may have one or two issues with using good unity, coherence and organization. Essay answers some of the questions on provided handout. The reflection may resemble a summary or a lecture in one area. Reflection is the required length.

59 - 65 points

A thoughtful/insightful personal reflection that references and reacts to the reading (without plagiarizing) using good unity, coherence and organization. Essay answers some of the questions on provided handout. The reflection does not resemble a summary nor a lecture in any way. Reflection is the required length.




66 - 70 points

Paper has five or more issues with grammar, usage and/or mechanics, and/or student uses the second person pronoun three or more times.

(one point deducted for each error after six in both categories combined)
0 - 10 points

Paper has three to four issues with grammar, usage and/or mechanics, and/or student uses the second person pronoun once or twice.





11 - 12 points

Paper has one or two issues with grammar, usage and/or mechanics. Student refrains from using the second person pronoun.





13 - 14 points

Paper is free of any grammatical, usage, and mechanical issues. Student refrains from using the second person pronoun.
