Scale Model Rubric Scale Model Rubric Make a 3D scale model of a 'real life' room or building. Include a minimum of 5 objects (min. 10 conversions) which you measure. Job Completion	Excellent The student finished 100% of the project. The student completed ALL of the project requirements.	Good The student finished the project. The student completed most of the project requirements.	Fair The student completed the project. The student completed half of the project requirements.	Poor The student completed the project.	Incomplete The student did not finish the project, refused to do the project, or abandoned the project.
Calculations	Excellent The student completed all calculations correctly, using the proportion method as directed.	Good The student completed almost all of the calculations correctly, using the proportion method as directed.	Fair The student completed all of the calculations correctly, but did not use/show the proportion method.	Poor The student did not complete the calculations correctly.	Incomplete The student did not complete any calculations or many calculations are missing.
Model	Excellent The student's scale model is neat and carefully constructed. The student demonstrates extra effort and work. Did more than minimum number of items/conversions. The student added decorations to the model.	Good The student's scale model is neat and carefully constructed. The student demontrates good effort and work. Met minimum number of items/conversions. The student added some decorations.	Fair The student's scale model is coming apart or is messy. The student put effort into their model, but was not very careful.	Poor The student's scale model is falling apart and is very messy. Model appears to be built with little effort.	Incomplete The student's scale model is very messy or broken. Little apparent effort in construction. Minimum item/conversions not met.
