Roller Coaster Rubric 
Student is tasked to explain the safety requirements of Roller Coasters in the U.S. You will have to design a roller coaster that has a theme and make a scale working model of your design minimum size 20X25 in. A 1 page paper is required desribing your understanding of energy and how it relates to your roller coaster.

Is a minimum of 20x25 in. Marble is able to travel throughout the whole coaster without stopping or falling. Creative use of obsticles.

1 paragraph or less. Did not explain what they learned or how they created their coaster.

2-3 paragraphs (less then full page) Missing one or two of the key components asked to be discussed in the paper. Not typed. Multiple spelling mistakes.

3-4 paragraphs (less then full page) Discussed the process of building the roller coaster and how the group worked together. Also what they learned while working on the project. Not typed. Some spelling mistakes.
Excellent

Over 1 page. Answers all questions. Explained the process of how you built your coaster and how your group worked together. Also what you learned while working on the project.Typed. No spelling mistakes.
