A.H. I "Hamilton" Project 
Based on our work with "Hamilton", I want you to create a playlist for Alexander Hamilton to reflect the story of America's beginning (from revolution to early republic). You will also type a letter to Hamilton explaining why you chose those songs and design a CD case (front and back) for the playlist.

Playlist - 50 points

Instructions

1. Create a typed 10 song playlist including the artist and title for each.
2. You must include a short rationale explaining why each of the songs was a good choice.
3. You must connect the lyrics of the songs to historical references from our study.
Reminders

1. Spelling errors will count 2 points each per error- be careful!
2. Song titles should be surrounded by quotation marks.
3. If any part of the playlist instructions are left off, the entire song will not be counted for its total value of 5 points.

CD Case- 30 points

Instructions

1. Create a CD cover (front and back) for your soundtrack (playlist).
2. The front should have an original title and have a creative display to showcase your playlist.
3. The back of the case should include the actual playlist with title and artist of each track.
Reminders

1. Album titles are in italics.
2. Design the two sides on computer paper or poster board.
3. The front is worth 15 points and the back is worth 15 points.
4. Again, be careful of spelling errors/typos.

1. Write a letter to Hamilton explaining why you have chosen the ten songs on the playlist.
2. You must include why he would approve of these songs.

1. Be sure you write at least a page explaining why he would approve of these songs.
2. Be sure to include and discuss at least two historical references he would recognize.
3. Your letter should be typed and in a formal business format.
