Wiki: Digital Portfolio 
AP students explore the 6 themes of the AP French Language and Culture. They selected 6 authentic resources to relate to each theme. They also write a summary to connect to the cultural comparison, which is task #4 on the free response section of the exam

Cultural Comparison

The summary explains one of the cultural aspects (products, practices, perspectives) of the German-speaking region and compares it to an aspect of the American culture.

Good

The student summarizes the content from the resource in his/her own words. The language is strong and comprehensible. The cultural aspect it identified and compared to a similar cultural aspect of the United States, your state, your community, etc.
Fair

The student summarizes the content from the resource by lifting lines and words from the source. The language is acceptable, but sometimes incomprehensible. The cultural aspect is identified, but not compared to a similar cultural aspect in United States, your state, your community, etc.
Poor

The student barely summarizes the content from the resource and the language is copied almost verbatim. The language is unacceptable and incomprehensible. The cultural aspect is not identified and not compared to a similar cultural aspect of United States, your state, your community, etc.
Unacceptable

No summary exists.
