Sometimes supports class learning; uses some self-control when reminded; does not make efforts to help classmates. Is sometimes critical beyond reason.

Showing consistent improvement in supporting class learning and self-control; offers help to others in a positive way.
Satisfactory

Generally supports class learning with positive behaviors and self-control; offers help to others.

Always supports class learning with positive behavior and self-control; is a good role model for others.

Is on task, focused, participates willingly and watches and responds to the conductor. Student practices to performance.

Does not participate appropriately during class; does not listen to the instructor; does not stay on task. Does not use rehearsal time wisely.

Participates very little during class; rarely follows choir music and directions from the instructor. Rarelyt uses rehearsal time wisely.

Makes conscious efforts to improve participation and to follow directions from the instructor. Tries to use rehearsal time wisely.

Generally participates during class; follows choir music and usually follows directions from the instructor. Generally uses rehearsal time wisely.

Participates willingly during class, with a positive attitude. Listens to directions from the instructor and follows them. Uses rehearsal time wisely.
Singing, Posture, and Expression

Sings with appropriate vocal vital signs, energy and emotion.

Unsatisfactory

Does not use good singing posture during class and is unwilling to follow any directives given; rarely sings or sings too loudly.

Occasionally sits up straight and is ready to sing or may need some re-direction. Sometimes does not sing or sings too loudly.

Student has completed all assignments and kept them up to date. All assignments were taken seriously and completed with outstanding effort.
