Science Slideshow Rubric 
This rubric is meant to help guide you in the creation of your Google Slideshow - 'Same, but Different'. Each category in the far left column represents a part of the project that you will need to consider in regards to your effort and the quality of what you produce. Read the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the slideshow, to ensure that all the required parts of your presentation have been included and all other criteria have been met.

All required slides are included (at least 10) with relevant and accurate information for each topic and the information is reasonably organised. There are some labels.
Fair

Less than the required slides are included (8-9) and some required information is missing. Some information is inaccurate and not in a logical order.
Poor

Less than 8 slides in presentation and contain less than half the information needed for the topics. Information is unorganized and does not make sense.
Presentation/Graphics

Excellent

Slides are attractive. Text is easy to read. Pictures, graphics, color and effects are used throughout to enhance presentation.
Good

Slides are attractive. Text is easy to read. More than half of the slides use pictures, graphics, color and effects to enhance presentation.
Fair

Slides are easy to read, and there's a basic balance of text and pictures on the page. Less than half the slides have pictures, graphics, color or effects.
Poor

The slides are not easy to read and don't look attractive. There is little use of pictures, graphics, color or effects.
Spelling and Grammar

Excellent

Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the presentation. There are no spelling errors and all sentences make sense.
Good

There 2 or more spelling errors on the presentation and most sentences make sense.
Fair

There are 4 or more spelling errors on the presentation and only a few sentences do not make complete sense.
Poor

There are many spelling errors on the presentation and a lot of sentences do not make complete sense.
Required Topics

Excellent

All required topics are included in the slides.
Good

Most required topics are included in the slides.
Fair

Less than half of the required topics are included in the slides.
Poor

One or less of the required topics are included in the slides.
Resources

Excellent

All resources are accurately cited in the final slide. All resources are from reliable sources.
Good

All resources are accurately cited on the final slide. Some resources are from reliable sources.
Fair

Some resources are cited in a slide but NOT from reliable sources.
