Book Report "Book It" Book Report student will complete a book report following the Book Report Guideline on a library book at the fifth grade level. Neatness	Poor The report appears to <BR> be a rough draft. There are pencil smudges. The report is not attached to rubric. The report is out of order.	Fair The report is fairly neat. There is a rubric attached to the front of the report. The report is in order.	Good The appearance of the report is organized. The rubric is attached. It is obviously a final copy. The student made sure to present the information in an orderly manner.
Content	Poor The information in the report does not relate to the book. The student is off topic in many places. The teacher is left wondering: What was the book about, and did the student actually read it?	Fair The information in the report is relevant, it relates to the book. The teacher can understand the book from the report. It is clear the student read the book.	Good The content shows detailed knowledge of the book. The teacher understood the book and learned something new from the report. The student read the book and thought about it.
Cover	Poor The student showed little effort in creating an original cover on their book.	Fair The report shows a reasonable amount of creativity on the cover	Good The student went beyond the usual. The cover shows a good amount of creativity.
