Cell Drawing	Poor Inaccurate representation. Not all cell parts are represented. Both cells not drawn.	Fair Representation of both plant and animal cells not fully accurate.	Good An accurate representation of both animal and plant cells. Cell parts are very clearly and accurately represented.
Labels	Poor Few or no labels of cell parts.	Fair Missing labels or more than 2 spelling errors in labels of cell parts.	Good All parts are labeled accurately with correct spellings in labels of cell parts. For Animal cell - Cell membrane, Cytoplasm, Nucleus, Vacuoles, Mitochondria. For plant cell - Cell membrane, Cell Wall, Cytoplasm, Nucleus, Vacuole, Mitochondria, Chloroplast.
Neatness	Poor Very messy. Difficult to read. Smudges. Obviously not much time or effort was put into the assignment.	Fair Somewhat neat. Labels are fairly well written.	Good Much effort and pride in illustration and labeling/definitions.
Creativity	Poor Done in pencil with no coloring of cell parts.	Fair Some evidence of planning and organization.	Good Creative and Colorful illustrations. One bonus point for going above and beyond expectations: Use of materials beyond markers, such as yarns to outline cells or parts, beans or styrofoam to represent organelles.
