Group Choreography Assignment 
Instructor assess group efforts in producing group choreography as an assignment in which all members contributed to producing choreography for the task at hand. Students may choose an age appropriate song to choreograph. Props and or costumes may be utilized if they assist in the over all style of the dance.

Partners know the movement extremely well. Confident and don't need to follow anyone else. Dancers have a great sense of timing & direction. DANCE is clean and well rehearsed. Transitions are natural and seamless.

Dancers know the movement well. They stay together, and have a good sense of timing & direction. 2-3 mistakes made. Transitions are good.
Fair

Dancer somewhat knew movement. Have an ok sense of timing & direction. Made 4-5 mistakes. Transitions are ok.
Needs Improvement

Dancer are somewhat unprepared and unsure of the choreography. Timing or direction is unclear. Made 5-6 mistakes. Transitions are choppy.
Poor

Dancer is unprepared and unsure of the choreography. There is no sense of timing or direction. Made lots of mistakes. transitions are very weak.

Concentrate on collaboration skills

Strong evidence that the partners worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.

Good evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.

Dancer show few evidence for working as a team. Not all students represented or participating.

Dancer did not act as team. Not all students participating. Clear division amongst members.
LENGTH

Concentrate on following rules.

Group was able to provide over 1 minute dance routine.

Group performance between 50-60 seconds.

Group performance between 40-50 seconds.
