Area Art Area Robot Using graph paper, the students will draw polygons. The students will determine the area of each polygon in their picture using the formula for area of a rectangle or counting unit squares. ORGANIZATION Art is pleasing to look at and area measurements are easy to locate and understand.	Level 4 Area art is well organized and neatly presented in a colorful and engaging manner. Viewer can easily locate the area that corresponds with each image.	Level 3 Area art is presented in a neat manner, but lacks organization. Writing may not be legible or organized.	Level 2 Area art requires the viewer to study the presentation to find all the pieces of the task. Lacks the necessary neatness.	Level 1 Area art is disorganized, not neat and not legible. The viewer has a hard time trying to make out what the project is about.
REQUIREMENTS Artwork has a title and shows thoughtful work effort. Learner demonstrates a clear understanding of the objective.	Level 4 All Requirements are met.	Level 3 Most of the requirements are met.	Level 2 Some of the requirements are met.	Level 1 Artwork looks rushed and messy with unclear calculations.
MATH CONTENT The learner shows a clear understanding of the additive property of area.	Level 4 Math Computations are complete and correct. All formulas are used correctly, data is organized and neat. All work is shown.	Level 3 Math computations have 1-2 mistakes. Most of the formulas are used correctly, data is organized. Not all work is shown.
