Purpose This award recognizes the finest career and technical teachers at the middle/secondary school level who have demonstrated innovation in the classroom, commitment to their students and dedication to the improvement of CTE in their institutions and communities.

Eligibility
All candidates must be employed as classroom/laboratory CTE teacher and have at least 5 years of teaching experience at the time of initial nomination. Candidates must be members of their state ACTE for consideration at the state level. State winners must be national ACTE members by March 1 to be considered at the Region level.
