Creativity	Advanced The team used materials purposefully and with creative flexibility.	Proficient The team used materials purposefully.	Basic The team used some of the materials purposefully-some materials don't show purpose.	Below Basic The team did not use materials creatively and with any clear purpose.
Teamwork	Advanced The students worked together well and all team members were involved in all aspects.	Proficient The students worked together well on all elements. Only a few team members were involved in decision making and/or design work.	Basic The students did not all work together well. They struggled with a few portions of the task	Below Basic The students did not work together well. They struggled with most elements of the task.
Marshmallow tower	Advanced Tower is free standing and can withstand trembles.	Proficient Tower is free standing but cannot withstand trembles.	Basic Tower was free standing-but fell after one minute.	Below Basic Tower was not free standing.
