Reading Comprehension Questioning
World Language Reading Comprehension
Students are given a reading assignment and they have to be able to answer questions in the target language related to the reading. This assignment will not only assess reading comprehension in another language, but also assess grammar and vocabulary acquisition.

Seems to understand most of the vocabulary words from the reading and the reading comprehension questions. Applied most of the vocabulary words with the correct meaning and spelling.
Fair
Seems to understand some of the vocabulary words from the reading and the reading questions. Only applied some of the vocabulary words with the correct meaning and spelling.
Poor
Did not understand the vocabulary words and could not apply them correctly.
Grammar
Excellent
Used the target language properly, including spelling, and grammar is employed consistently throughout the assignment. Used punctuation and/or accents correctly and only when necessary.
Good
Few spelling or grammar mistakes are evident, but do not change the meaning of the answers. Some of the punctuation and/or accents are misused.

Demonstrates, through consistent appropriate behavior, their understanding of the need to follow and listen his/her fellow classmates.

Shows some interest in other students partipation but still makes some noise and avoid concentration from his/her fellow classmates.
Fair
Demonstrates, through occasional inappropriate behavior, their lack of respect to his/her fellow classmates.
Poor
Interrupts several times by making noise, laughing or talking with others.
