Basketball Dribbling Rubric
	Developing 1 pts	Competent 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts
Eyes Up & Forward	Developing Student never keeps their eyes up and looking forward while dribbling the basketball.	Competent Student keeps their eyes up and looking forward for part of the time while dribbling the basketball.	Proficient Student always keeps their eyes up and looking forward while dribbling the basketball.
Fingerpads Not Fingertips	Developing Student dribbles the basketball with their fingertips and never uses their fingerpads.	Competent Student dribbles the basketball with their fingertips for part of the time and uses their fingerpads at other times.	Proficient Student never dribbles the basketball with their fingertips and always uses their fingerpads while dribbling.
Ball At Side	Developing Student consistently dribbles the basketball in front of their body and never at their side.	Competent Student dribbles the basketball at their side a majority of the time and dribbles in front of their body at other times.	Proficient Student always dribbles the basketball at their side, unless crossing over, when the ball needs to be dribbled in the middle of their body.
Dribble At Waist Level Or Lower	Developing Student consistently dribbles the basketball above the height of their waist level.	Competent Student dribbles the basketball at their waist level or lower for part of the time.	Proficient Student always dribbles the basketball at their waist level or lower.
