Science Presentation - Rocks 5 
Your group will present and teach a concept to the class. You must provide the class with all necessary materials, as well as provide an assignment for the class to complete. Your group must also provide an assessment of some kind to see if the class has understood the material.

Very Good

Students present a project that is complete but does not show the same level of pride, effort or care and attention to detail. It is free of spelling, grammar or punctuation errors.
Excellent

Students present a finished project that shows care and attention to detail and effort. Students should be very proud of project. It is free of spelling, grammar or punctuation errors.
Presentation

Poor

Students are silly or not serious about presenting project to the class. Behavior is not appropriate.
Acceptable

Students simply read project to the class. Students do not make eye contact with the audience and are hard to hear.
Very Good

Students "present" most of the project but look at the project, not the audience. Students speak well but need to speak louder and explain the details.
Excellent

Students present project to audience with appropriate aye contact, volume and confidence. Students speak well and explain details well.
Group has checked for understanding

Poor

The group does not check to see if the class understands the material.
Acceptable

The group checks only once during presentation to see if the class is understanding.
Very Good

The group checks more than once on the class. These checks seem to be at appropriate times.
Excellent

The group has checked periodically on class and these checks come at appropriate times.
