There are 8-10 lines.	Fair Some effort was made, but the poem is lacking in relevancy OR the poem is relevant but has less than 8 lines.	Poor Minimum effort made writing the poem in relevance and number of lines.
Effort	Excellent Does a great job using characters and vocabulary in the written poem.	Good Tries to use necessary vocabulary and expressions in the written poem.	Fair Little effort, student does not vary expressions or vocabulary in the written poem.	Poor Very little effort, student has poor knowledge of relevant vocabulary and expressions in the written poem.
Grammar/Vocabulary	Excellent The poem has no errors in grammar or vocabulary.	Good There are some errors in grammar/ vocabulary but they do not hinder comprehension of the poem.	Fair There several errors in grammar/ vocabulary, and they somewhat hinder the comprehension of the poem.	Poor The poem is so poorly written that there is no attempt at comprehension.
