Organization & Delivery How well did the students communicate their research?	Needs Improvement Students have very little information. Students mumble, speak too quickly or quietly. Hard to understand.	Approaching Some organization and delivery is difficult to understand at times. Some students can be clearly understood but some can not.	Competent Student presents information in logical sequence which audience can follow. Most students maintain good eye contact and audience can hear accurately.	Proficient Students present information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow. All students maintain eye contact, clear voice and rate so that they are always understood.
Collaboration Did the group complete the assignment? Did they work together cooperatively and as a team?	Needs Improvement Group needed much teacher guidance and assistance to get work done and solve problems. Some students did not complete their part of the project.	Approaching Group needed some teacher guidance to complete project and solve problems. Only one student did not complete their part of the project.	Competent Students worked well together to complete project and solved problems with little (if any) teacher assistance.	Proficient Students completed project thoroughly. They worked cohesively to solve problems without any teacher assistance.
Content Quality and accuracy of information	Needs Improvement Student gave inaccurate or insufficient information.	Approaching Student gave mostly accurate and sufficient information.	Competent Student gave accurate and sufficient information.	Proficient Student's information went above and beyond the assignment.
