Comprehension 35 pts	Excellent Student understands the words. They do the TPR correctly while singing the song.	Very Good Student understands the song, but there are mistakes with the TPR and the singing.	Okay Student understands some parts of the song, but they make many mistakes. Actions don't follow the words.	Needs Improvement Student did not understand the song and made many mistakes when singing. Actions didn't follow the words at all.
Expression and Style 35 pts	Excellent Student performs well. He/she smiles, acts out words with energy, has fun singing the song.	Very Good Student performs okay. He/she acts out some words with energy.	Okay Student performs with little energy. He/she acts out only a few words but there's no energy.	Needs Improvement Student is not interested in singing the song. He/she didn't know the words and didn't seem to care.
Diction 30 pts	Excellent Student says the words of the song clearly and the teacher can understand all of the words.	Very Good Student says some the words of the song clearly and the teacher can understand most of the words.	Okay Student didn't say a lot of the words of the song clearly. The teacher couldn't understand a lot of the words.	Needs Improvement Student has no clue what he/she is singing. Student didn't know the words and the teacher couldn't understand the student at all.
